My wife is the most important person in my life. So how do I choose a gift that accurately reflects that? Who knows? Surely not me. I usually spend the entire month prior to Christmas agonizing over ideas, most of which never make it past the internal filters. Then in a frothy panic a week before the holiday I grab something that probably isn’t the most thoughtful gift ever.

How is a guy such as myself supposed to function under this kind of pressure? I hate to buy her things like appliances - it seems to me as though a gift like that tells her, hey go vaccuum.

She’s not a gadget freak like I am, so that’s out.
